About the artist
Tusidi is an Istanbul-based makeup and nail artist, designer, lifeguard and your family's favorite post-human drag performer. Pushing the limits of drag since 2019, they perform wherever they can (from wards to cemeteries). In their attempt at exploring their identity search through their art, the artist frequently tackles the themes of posthumanism, transformation and illusion in their work. They have worked in front of and behind the camera in various productions by means of makeup as their main medium. They augmentate their work with set design, costume, sculpture and video editing.
