About the artist
Sunni Lamin Barrow (1998) is a relatively rising name in the Dutch Poetry circuit. After performing as a spoken word artist in his early years, he is now exploring new theatrical hybrids in his artistic career. Sunni's works are inspired by his Gambian background and new explorations, he shares his challenging experiences, beliefs, identity and aspirations through his poetry and art illustrations. As an identity formation, Sunni's current artistic curiosity begins to give voice to society's ills from which he has yet to heal.
