About the artist
Storm Vogel (they/them) is a theatre maker, writer and performer. In their work they combine personal and political perspectives in a surprising and absurd way. Their love for small things, fungi and moss between stones, and their motivation to make this world seem less gray compel them to make immersive art that can touch the viewer. Central to their work is the power of imagination to change how we perceive our world(s). They feel most at home in community art settings, and the natural world is their biggest inspiration. In 2022 Storm and Liza Slootman founded WILD, a T4T long term artistic project with trans and genderqueer children.
