About the artist
Transvestite born in Callao, she studied History at the UNMSM, a culturist in performance and poetry. She inhabits his body as a polisha—her companion, mother Killa, and his Apu Huachac—, an anonymous traka that flies from coastal streets to mountain towns, intervening in spaces, destroying conservatism and fighting colonization. Integrate the LGTBIQ Callao Movement. She published the collections of poems “Vientrx” (Jan. 2020) and “Sunqu” (Sep. 2021); the fanzines “Memorias Trakas” (Apr. 2021) and “Resistencia Travesti” (May. 2022). He stars in the piece of musical poetry “La Pacha Es Traka”, which has been published in “A Home Called Body. Trans Poetry from Abya Yola” (Oct. 2022) and “Burning down the Closet. Peruvian Dissident Theater in the 21st Century” Vol. II (Oct. 2022).
She recently published the collection of poems “(A)post-illa. Behind the Lightning” (Oct. 2023), presented in Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.
