About the artist
Filmmaker and Visual Artist, winner of Candango prize for Best College Film at the Festival de Cinema de Brasília’s 50th edition and Best Short Film Baiano at the XIII edition of Panorama Internacional Coisa de Cinema with “The Arch of Fear”; second part of a trilogy of cinematic experiments that started in 2015 with the short film “The Arch of Freedom”, which tries to represent archetypes of black queerness, through a series of visual allegories about identity, space, ancestry, body and gender. As Production Designer, made the short film “Abyss”. Graduating in film school at Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia and 2022 Seed Awardee.
