About the artist
Efemine is an Istanbul based filmmaker working as producer and director, while getting their bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Boğaziçi University. Most recently, they worked as an associate producer for feature films: “I’m Here, I’m Fine'' (2023) and as a co-producer for “Blue ID” (2022). They are also one of the co-founders and directors of Alt-Cut collective and “Planet Lubunya” - an initiative founded in 2020 originally as a digital event series and more recently released a theatre project in 2022. It is a multidisciplinary platform that brings together Turkey and Germany based queer artists.
