About the artist
Susanne Khalil Yusef works as an artist based in the Netherlands. She makes immersive colorful installations. Growing up in five European countries as a child to Palestinian refugees, Yusef became committed to researching her family and Palestinian history in general.
In her work she raises critical questions about themes such as homeland and displacement and socio-geographic power relations.
Yusef is currently a resident at the Rijksakademie of Amsterdam.
