About the artist
Salomé Alis is a fashion designer, performance artist, creative director and art curator. She started her career when she gave birth to herself on stage at Dudakların Cengi (2019).
She gets inspired by the numerous gazes on the streets and her experiences / struggles in queer life.
Salomé perceives the world mystical and ethereal, people as creatures, presences and entities. This magical world feeds her art and gives color to her practice.
Her art form consists mostly of mixing her practices such as performance arts and fashion. In 2023, she also started to focus on aerial acrobatics and mixed it with their work.
