About the artist
Born in İzmir in 1995, İlkin Zeybek after completing his undergraduate degree at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Art and Design, Photography and Video Program; currently produces various photography, video and print works in Istanbul. In their works, they include subjects and experiences that reject the heteronormative practices in Turkey. While with the help of a flash, photographing the daily actions and the performances of ever-censored LGBTQ+s that they display in their safe spaces, also publishes a fanzine called Zed's Fanzine, which includes various works by queer artists based in Istanbul.
