About the artist
Historian, Writer and a high school Teacher at Maragogipe town, working there since 2009. Has acted in cultural projects that seek to integrate students in questions related to their social context through themes such as Politics, Race, Gender and other forms of violence that the communities from the favelas go through. A social educator that has been focused on projects about the construction of knowledge that goes beyond the classroom. Engaging with organizations in the Director position at an educational center in a Quilombo, targeting ex-students that come from public school, in a way to assist their journey to college in projects such as “Blackhood in Maragogipe” and “History and and Literature in Recôncavo”.
